Hello, my name is John and I've spent the last 2 years trying to research my Grandad's WW1 history, I'm one of the lucky ones who owns the medals he was awarded after the war. However during my research I have noticed that there are a lot of medals out there that are bought and sold daily online, by medal dealers and at car boots. So,along the way I have picked up several medals, both groups and part groups and I started to wonder where the other medals from part groups were? and that , I could probably spend a life time searching for them. So if i'm thinking this, then where does a person searching for their families or relatives medals, go? This site is therefore open to everyone, to list their medals or post what they are looking for. This is not an auction site, If you wish to buy and sell medals, then that is to be done by the parties involved. |

When searching for a relatives medals, it is always easier the more information you have. Their Name, Regimental number and Unit they served in are the three key pieces of information that you will require, but don't give up if you don't have it all. E-mail me with as much information as you have about your relative and i will try and fill in as many of the missing details as i can.
